      Pricing questions

What age is CrunchChess designed for?
It is built for kids from about age 6 through teenage tournament players. The puzzles adapt to each child, so a beginner still learning how the pieces move and a stronger junior sharpening calculation both get the right level.
How much time should my child train each day?
About 15 minutes a day is enough. Short, regular sessions build the habit and stop the same mistakes from coming back, consistency matters far more than long sessions.
Does my child need a chess coach to use it?
No. CrunchChess works on its own, every mistake is explained, so your child learns the reason behind the right move. If they do have a coach, it works well as structured practice between lessons.
Is CrunchChess suitable for tournament players?
Yes. Stronger and rated juniors use it to drill tactics and tighten their calculation. The difficulty rises as they improve, so it keeps challenging players well into competitive levels.
How is CrunchChess different from Chess.com puzzles?
Chess.com serves puzzles one after another. CrunchChess is a structured path: puzzles are sequenced by skill, every mistake is explained, and the ones your child gets wrong come back until the thinking behind them is fixed.
How is CrunchChess different from Chessable?
Chessable is mainly for memorising openings and courses through repetition. CrunchChess trains a child to think through tactics and stop hanging pieces, practical decisions over the board, not memorisation.
      Do parents receive progress updates?
Yes. You can link a parent email and get a weekly report showing what your child practiced and where they are improving, plus a progress page you can check any time.
What happens after the free trial ends?
At the end of the 7 days we email you a progress report. To keep training, you choose a plan, $199 a year or $19.99 a month. If you do nothing, you are not charged.
Will I be charged during the trial?
No. The 7-day trial is free and needs no credit card. You are only charged if you decide to subscribe after it ends.
      Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings whenever you like, no contracts and no cancellation fees. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Will my child lose progress if I cancel?
No. Your child’s history and progress stay saved to their account. If you come back later, everything is exactly where they left it.
What is included in a subscription?
Everything, in one plan: the full Pawn-to-Legend curriculum, adaptive difficulty, every mistake explained, coaching when your child slips, weekly parent reports, a shareable progress link, and no ads.
Do I still need a coach?
No, CrunchChess is a complete daily plan on its own. And if your child does have a coach, it is the structured practice that makes those lessons actually stick.
Can schools or academies use CrunchChess?
Yes. Coaches and clubs use it as structured homework for their students. If you run a group, contact us and we will help you get set up with a plan that fits.
